Islamic State (ISIL) has claimed responsibility for the terror attacks in Paris and threatened that the UK and the US are next to be targeted.
"We started with an operation in France, for which we take responsibility. Tomorrow it will be in Britain, America and others," Islamic cleric and one of the leaders of IS Abu Saad al Ansari said in a sermon in the Iraqi city of Mosul, which is controlled by the Islamic State, as reported Israeli newspaper "Haaretz".
"It is a message to all countries participating in the (US-led) coalition that killed members of the Islamic State," he threatened.
At the same time, retired American general Thomas McInerney told Fox News that it does not necessarily mean that IS is behind the attack in France just because Al Ansari made such a statement and that there is a possibility that this movement is saying all this for propaganda purposes.
