At least 95 people were killed in attacks by Syrian planes on Islamic State strongholds in the northeast of the country, Syrian activists announced today.
This is the new balance of victims of a series of actions on Tuesday, and civilians are at least half of the dead.
The Syrian Air Force hit the city of Raka, and the bombs hit the market and the industrial district of the city.
The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights organization today increased the number of those killed in those attacks to 95.
Observatory director Rami Abdurahman said that among the victims were 52 civilians, whom the organization was able to identify.
Other organizations estimate that more than 100 people died.
The Associated Press could not independently verify the death toll.
