The Swiss, with an average wealth of 581.000 dollars and a growth of 10,5 percent at the annual level, remain world leaders in this regard, according to the study Global Wealth 2014, which was prepared for the needs of the Credit Suisse bank.
Although the economic circumstances at the global level are still difficult, the total wealth of households in the world recorded a new record last year, reports AFP, stating that the world's wealth in 2013 more than doubled compared to the year 2000.
The annual growth of household wealth at the global level has grown by 2000 percent on average since 11,4, and the largest increase was recorded in North America, which now reaches 91.000 billion dollars.
The wealth of European households increased by 10,6 percent to 85.200 billion dollars.
The number of ultra-rich in the world with a net worth of more than 50 million dollars has increased to 128.200, and the largest number of ultra-rich live in the USA, 62.000 of them.
According to this study, the number of millionaires globally will increase by 2019 percent to 53 million by 53, while there will still be fewer of them in developing countries than in Europe and North America.
It is expected that in the next five years, the wealth of households in the world will increase by 40 percent, to 368.000 billion dollars. Household wealth in developing countries will increase to 21 percent of the world's total wealth.
