A British woman became the first presenter without a burqa on state-owned Arab television

The television presenter stirred up passions in Saudi Arabia when she appeared on screen without traditional Islamic clothing and without a burqa.

The presenter was reading the news from the London studio of Al Ekhbariya, a channel owned by the state television of Arabia. This is the first presenter in a decade, since the existence of this channel, who appeared without a burka.
