Seven people were wounded in an armed incident early this morning in a neighborhood in the city of Indianapolis in the US state of Indiana, US police said.
Police official Christopher Bailey said one person was in serious condition.
According to him, six more people were wounded, but their injuries are not life-threatening.
No one has yet been arrested after the incident and the motive behind the incident is unknown.
Police are questioning the victims. An investigation is underway.
