Braden Gandy, 7, has cerebral palsy and cannot walk on his own. His brother Hunter (14) put him on his back and they set off on the adventure of a lifetime.
On Saturday morning, these boys from America started in front of the high school in Bedford, Michigan, towards the university in Ann Arbor, 65 kilometers away.
Hunter has been preparing for months for this endeavor, and the goal is to collect donations and enable research into the treatment of cerebral palsy at the University of Michigan.
When leaving, he said that he hoped to reach his destination safely. The action attracted a lot of public attention.
"The singer of Megadet has already contacted us saying that he supports us and will donate money. The Detroit Tigers have also contacted us, as well as many others," said an enthusiastic Hunter.
"My brother is a great guy," Braden added.
The brothers reached the goal in 30 hours, reports the portal 24sata.hr.
