Australian Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull "survived" the vote of no confidence in the parliament, which was initiated by the opposition Labor Party, reports Tanjug.
Just hours before that vote, he defended his Liberal Party leadership.
The Prime Minister was supported by all MPs of the ruling coalition in the lower house, while 35 Labor MPs voted against him, reports Reuters.
Turnbull previously defeated Immigration Minister Peter Dutton in an internal party leadership vote.
