The suspect in last night's attack at the University of South Carolina in which XNUMX-year-old Brandon Robinson was killed, Justin Bernard Singleton of Charleston, was arrested early this morning, state police said.
Robinson died yesterday afternoon from a wound he received outside his dormitory.
The police initially announced that they were looking for four attackers, who had left the campus, but today they refused to give information about whether there are more suspects and whether the search for them is ongoing.
It is not yet known what the motive was for the murder at the University of South Carolina, which followed only three days after one student at Purdue University killed another in the auditorium, using both firearms and cold weapons.
Although America set a goal last year to combat such incidents in schools, since the beginning of 2014 this is the eighth attack in schools.
