US porn industry to shut down again due to HIV

The American porn industry is on the verge of being shut down again after another actor tested positive for the HIV virus.

This movement has reignited the debate about the use of condoms in adult films.

Daine Duke, head of the industry group Free Speech Coalition, called for a suspension of filming after one of their centers tested positive.

"We are taking every precaution and investigating whether other contractors are also at risk. We take health concerns very seriously and it is better to err on the side of caution until we determine if anyone else is exposed. The next step is to further test and identify the first partners. We want to make sure all employees are protected. Their safety and health is our top priority," Duke said.

Adult Production Health and Safety Services provides guidance and services for employees in the adult production industry and is designed to provide a safe and healthy work environment.

The AIDS Healthcare Foundation advocates the use of protection during the filming of porn scenes in Los Angeles, which has not yet been adopted.

The porn industry has taken several hits due to positive HIV tests, two of which were in September alone.
