The Chinese authorities have mobilized 13.000 police officers in search of a man who has committed seven murders and six armed robberies in the last seven years, the Tanjug agency reports.
Forty-two-year-old Zeng Kaigui, who has the status of the number one enemy of the state in China, committed another murder last Sunday in Nanjing, the capital of Jiangsu province in eastern China.
Eyewitnesses stated that Kaigui cold-bloodedly shot the victim, from whom he stole 25.000 euros, and then left the crime scene without haste.
The police mobilized 13.000 people and two helicopters in pursuit of the fugitive, who proved to be extremely adept at hiding.

The police covered all train and bus stations, cyber cafes and hotels and blocked all major road routes.
A photo robot of the criminal was placed all over the city, and most of Nanjing's seven million residents received a text message with a picture of the suspect and a warning that he was a dangerous killer.
"The atmosphere in the city is difficult, but I'm not worried because everyone is looking for him," one resident said in a statement to the Chinese newspaper Global Times Daily.
Authorities have offered a reward of €12.500 for information leading to Kaigui.
