The most significant blocked cities are Hama and Deir Ezzor, said a representative of an organization for the protection of human rights.
He added that three people were killed yesterday after the evening prayer.
"Around a hundred tanks and military transporters are on the road leading to Hama (central Syria), while around 200 vehicles have gone to Deir Ezor (in the east of the country)," said Rami Abdel Rahman of the Syrian Organization for the Protection of Human Rights.
He added that telephone traffic and internet were interrupted in Hama and the surrounding area.
According to him, two people were killed last night when Syrian security forces opened fire on demonstrators in the city of Raqqa, in the north of the country, while another person was killed in Jableh.
During the large demonstrations on Sunday, the army carried out a large-scale offensive in several Syrian cities when a total of almost 140 people were killed. 100 of them died in Hama itself. According to the latest data from organizations for the protection of human rights, 24 people died in that country on Monday.
