Afghanistan: The Islamic State claimed responsibility for the attack in which 16 people were killed

The so-called Islamic State claimed responsibility for yesterday's terrorist attack, in which 16 people were killed in the province of Nangarhar in Afghanistan, according to the agency of the terrorist organization Amaq.

"Suicide bombers and gunmen attacked the office of a construction company in the Afghan city of Jalalabad, killing 16 of the company's employees," an unnamed provincial official said.

Jalalabad is the capital of the province of Nangarhar, which is located on the border with Pakistan, reminds Reuters.
