Trump on rape allegations: She's not my type, and it didn't happen

US President Donald Trump said that the columnist who accused him of raping her in a New York boutique in the XNUMXs was "not his type".

"I'll say it with great respect. Number one, she's not my type. Number two, that didn't happen," Trump said in an interview with the Hill newspaper.

Writer I. Jean Carroll claims that a friendly encounter with Trump at a Bergdorf Goodman boutique in 1995 or 1996 turned violent when the billionaire pushed her against a wall in a dressing room, unzipped her pants and raped her. As she states, in a "colossal struggle" she pushed him away and ran away.

Trump told The Hill that Carroll is "blatantly lying" about the allegations, which he has previously denied. "I don't know anything about that woman. I don't know anything about her. She is... it's terrible that people make statements like that," the US president said.

Allegations against Trump were also presented in a book that should be released soon, in which Carol, a columnist for El magazine, talks about the "disgusting men" she has met in her life.

Carroll told CNN yesterday that she's "happy she's not Trump's type."

During the 2016 election campaign, more than a dozen women accused Trump of inappropriate behavior in earlier years. He denied all these allegations and said that the women were lying.
