Two people were killed in Kabul in the explosion of a magnetic bomb on a bus carrying journalists, an Afghan official announced today.
The Afghan Ministry of Interior announced that the bus driver and a pedestrian were killed, and two workers of the Afghan television station and a pedestrian were wounded.
No one has claimed responsibility for the attack, but the Taliban and rival Islamic State have previously attacked journalists for what they say are biased and negative reporting.
Both groups are active in Kabul.
The Taliban announced in June that local Afghan media would be targeted if they continued to broadcast anti-Taliban messages paid for by the government.
