The earthquake struck the city of Neijiang, in Sichuan province, at 6.42:XNUMX a.m. local time, the state earthquake monitoring agency said.
In addition to the victims, at least 17 houses were destroyed in the earthquake, and 215 were damaged, according to the announcement of the city government.
