A strong 6,8 magnitude earthquake struck off the coast of Chile and shook buildings in the capital, Santiago.
So far, there are no reports of possible damage or injuries.
The American Geological Institute announced that the earthquake hit Chile at 10.57:66 a.m. local time and that its epicenter was 16,5 kilometers west-southwest of the city of Constitution, at a depth of XNUMX kilometers.
Chile's emergency agency said the earthquake was felt throughout the central and southern parts of the country.
