An earthquake with a magnitude of 5,5 on the Richter scale hit eastern Japan today, the country's Meteorological Agency announced, reports Tanjug.
The epicenter of the earthquake was in the Pacific Ocean at a depth of 10 kilometers.
No one was injured, and there are no reports of possible damage.
