Russia delivered to America a bill for slightly more than 600.000 dollars for the humanitarian aid it delivered to it in the fight against the coronavirus, but America raised the question of the use of that aid, the Moscow daily Kommersant writes today.
The merchant states, referring to ABC News, that Russia has delivered to the USA 45 devices for mechanical lung ventilation, masks that completely cover the face, medical gloves, and protective medical clothing.
The paper states that the delivered devices for artificial ventilation of the lungs are not designed for 110 volts in the network, as is the case in America, but for 220.
It is also stated that the function of protective masks M-95, which correspond to military standards against biological and chemical attacks, is not clear, since medics need masks with protection class 95.
Kommersant reminds that Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov stated that the delivery to America is "humanitarian", and that the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs posted a statement on social networks about it with the hashtag #RussiaHelps. At the same time, the paper adds, the US State Department emphasized the commercial nature of that aid.
