Dozens of dolphins have been found off the coast of the Mexican state of Baja California Sur, authorities said.
The Mexican Environmental Protection Service stated that 54 dolphins were stranded in the La Paz Bay area, of which 33 were rescued and 21 died.
According to experts, these are ordinary, widely distributed dolphins that tried to save themselves from attacks by groups of dolphins of another species by fleeing into the shallows.
