The Mexican Ministry of Health announced that 24 new cases of the coronavirus were confirmed in that country in the last 6.719 hours, and that another 550 people died as a result of the infection.
A total of 1.032.688 cases of infection have been confirmed in Mexico since the beginning of the pandemic, and 101.373 people have died, according to Reuters.
Officials said the actual number of infected people is likely to be significantly higher than the number of confirmed cases.
