The House of Representatives of the US Congress today adopted a 900 billion dollar aid package intended for individuals and businessmen affected by the coronavirus pandemic.
A proposal worth 1,4 thousand billion dollars was also adopted, which will enable the financing of the American government for another year.
With 92 votes for and six against, the laws were approved by the Senate, after which they go to President Donald Trump for signature.
In the House of Representatives, 359 voted for, 53 against.
The adopted package is a combination of assistance to individuals and businesses.
Most Americans will get $600 each, and the unemployed will get $300 a week.
The 5.593-page law, the longest law to date, is also the most generous aid package in American history, after the one of 2,3 trillion dollars adopted in March.
