More than a dozen protesters today hit and threw stones at the vehicle in which the President of Argentina Alberto Fernandez was, during his visit to the southern part of the country, which was badly affected by the fires.
According to local media, Fernandez had to hide behind his security guards in the town of Lago Pueblo in Patagonia before the arrival of demonstrators.
They then stopped the president's minibus, kicked him, hit him with their hands and threw stones at him.
The fires in Patagonia have been going on for weeks and one person has been injured.
