The Israeli army targeted the house of the leader of Hamas in the Gaza Strip

The Israeli military said today that it targeted the house of the top leader of Hamas in Gaza after almost a week of fierce airstrikes and rocket fire on Israel from the Palestinian territory ruled by the Islamic organization.

Military spokesman Brigadier General Hidai Zilberman told Israel Military Radio today that the army targeted the house of Yehia Sinvar, the highest Hamas leader in the territory, who is apparently hiding with the rest of the leadership.

Sinwar's house was in the town of Khan Yunis in the southern Gaza Strip, and the Israeli army said it also targeted his brother's house. It remained unclear whether they shared the family home.

The photos show that craters were created that blocked the road to the main hospital of Shifa, the largest medical center in the belt.

The Ministry of Health in Gaza announced that at least two people were killed and 25 people were wounded, including women and children, in the latest strikes. The Israeli army had no immediate comment.

On Saturday, the house of Khalil al-Haya, a high-ranking official in the political wing of Hamas, was targeted.

As stated by the army, it was part of the terrorist infrastructure. There is no report on the fate of Al Haya for now.
