At least 28 people were killed when a bus ran off the road into a ravine in western Nepal, authorities there said.
At least 15 injured people were hospitalized, and rescuers are still on the ground looking for bodies.
The bus started from Nepaldunj town and was only a few kilometers from its destination, Gamagadi town in Mugu district, when it landed in a ravine.
There is no information yet on the cause of the accident or how many passengers were on the bus.
Officials fear that the number of victims could be higher.
Traffic incidents are common in mountainous Nepal, and the cause is mostly defective vehicles, bad and narrow roads with big and sharp curves.
