Today, Tehran rejected the joint statement of the leaders of four Western countries on the sidelines of the G20 meeting in Rome on Iran's nuclear program.
Iran announced that the position of Western leaders "does not reflect reality" and confirmed the peacetime nature of its nuclear program.
The leaders of the US, France, Germany and Great Britain expressed "deep concern" over Iran's nuclear activities and called on Tehran "to change course".
Negotiations between Iran and the European countries that signed the nuclear agreement with Tehran in 2015 have been stalled since June. The US unilaterally left the agreement.
Iran, which insists it is developing a nuclear program solely for peaceful purposes, has violated limits on uranium enrichment set by the deal.
