Democratic candidate Eric Adams will be the new mayor of New York.

Adams has been the mayor of Brooklyn since 2014 and will be the second black mayor of New York.

He defeated Republican Party candidate Curtis Sliva, who founded the Guardian Angels civilian patrol in the late XNUMXs.
