US President Joseph Biden and his wife Jill packed turkey and sweet potato meals at the DC Central Kitchen, an organization that makes food for schools and homeless shelters in Washington, ahead of this week's Thanksgiving holiday.
As reported by Voice of America (VOA), the President and First Lady were joined by Vice President Kamala Harris and her husband Doug Emhoff, who served green beans and gravy.
Americans celebrate Thanksgiving on Thursday with a traditional meal that often includes turkey, gravy and mashed potatoes.
After the community service, the Bidens headed to Massachusetts, where they should spend the rest of the week.
