Three people, two crew members and the son of the defense minister, were killed when a Salvadoran military plane crashed into the Pacific.
The plane crashed on Thursday and the army confirmed that the bodies of the victims were found.
Two crew members and Gerardo Merino, son of Defense Minister Francis René Merino Monroy, were killed.
The military did not explain why Merino was on the plane, which it said was "on a mission in a coastal area" when it crashed.
The accident happened about three nautical miles from the coast, and boats and planes were immediately dispatched to help in the search.
