The administration of US President Joseph Biden will offer Americans nearly $4,5 billion in aid to help reduce energy costs for households, the White House announced.
The package, announced by the Department of Health and Human Services through the Administration for Children and Families, will help families make low-cost energy home repairs and cover unpaid utility bills, according to a statement reported by Reuters.
On the other hand, the Department of Energy announced a package of nearly $9 billion for new home efficiency programs to be administered by tribes and states, the statement added.
