An earthquake with a magnitude of 5,7 on the Richter scale struck Kucha County in the Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region, in northwest China.
This was announced by the China Earthquake Center (CENC).
The earthquake occurred at 18:11 local time at a depth of six kilometers, CGTN television reported.
For now, there is no information about possible victims or caused material damage.
