At least 11 people have died in a landslide triggered by stormy rains in the Indonesian province of Natuna.
According to local officials, more than 50 people are missing.
Mud poured from the surrounding mountains onto houses in the village of Serasan in Natuna.
Rescuers have recovered at least 11 bodies, but they fear that it is certain that there will be more victims.
"We have not yet reached everyone who needs help because it is difficult for us to access the affected areas," said Abdul Muhari, a spokesman for the State Disaster Mitigation Agency.
Dozens of soldiers, policemen and volunteers are participating in the search, which is hindered by the interruption of the communication line and bad weather conditions.
Seasonal downpours often cause landslides and floods in Indonesia.
