A former soldier shot and killed an active-duty member of the U.S. military and three children in a South Carolina home before killing himself, officials said today.
Two US officials confirmed that they were military personnel.
The police said that the bodies of three children and two men were found, and one is believed to be the killer.
The investigation is ongoing, and unofficially there are witnesses who told what happened.
The identity of the victims has not been released.
