Uganda's parliament has passed a revised version of one of the world's strictest anti-LGBT laws after President Joveri Museveni asked that certain provisions of the original law be relaxed.
Despite some changes, the new bill retains most of the strictest measures of the law passed in March, reports Reuters.
The death penalty is prescribed for certain same-sex acts.
One of the measures is a 20-year sentence for "promoting" homosexuality, which activists say could criminalize any advocacy for LGBT rights.
