Three people were killed when two firefighting helicopters collided in Southern California, USA, while fighting a fire in Riverside County, emergency officials said.
One of the helicopters landed safely, Voice of America reported.
"Unfortunately, the second helicopter crashed and tragically killed all three crew members, including one CalFire division chief, one CalFire captain and one contract client pilot," CalFire Southern Regional Chief David Fulcher said during a news conference.
Fulcher did not identify the victims.
The accident caused an additional fire on 1,6 hectares, which was extinguished.
