We are preparing for a conflict with Russia and terrorist groups if they attack us, said the chairman of the NATO military committee, Admiral Rob Bauer.
As reported by Sky News, he said that there is an understanding that it is not possible to plan everything and that not everything will be fine in the next 20 years.
"I'm not saying things will go badly tomorrow, but we have to understand that it's not guaranteed that we're at peace. That's why we have plans, that's why we're preparing for a conflict with Russia and terrorist groups if they attack us. We're not looking for any conflict," said Bauer.
He said that civilians must also understand that they have a role to play, even though NATO and its member states are preparing for a conflict with Vladimir Putin's regime.
