The Beta agency reports that at a rally in the federal state of South Carolina, Trump also promised the mass expulsion of migrants from the US, and that he once again referred to immigration, another major controversial issue in the election campaign.
Under his pressure, Republican members of Congress seem to have decided to block any reform of immigration policy before the presidential election.
"Let's not forget that this Sunday we also won a big victory that all conservatives should celebrate. We stifled the disastrous open borders proposal of that fraudster Joe Biden. The whole group did a great job in Congress," said Trump.
The former president, who boosted his popularity by promising to build a wall between the US and Mexico, has assured that deporting migrants will be one of his priorities if he returns to the White House.
"From day one, I will end all open border policies of the Biden administration and launch the largest national deportation operation in US history. We have no choice," he said.
At the same meeting, Trump announced that he would not protect NATO members who "do not pay" against a potential Russian invasion.
Trump, is the favorite for the presidential candidate of the Republicans in the elections in November.
