A large fire in the Australian state of Victoria got out of control, and the authorities issued a new call for evacuation for residents in the west of that state.

Australia is currently under the influence of a climate phenomenon known as "El Niño", which is commonly associated with extreme events such as bushfires, cyclones and droughts.
