Israeli Foreign Minister Israel Katz today described the United Nations (UN) as an "anti-Israel organization", after the visit of Secretary-General Antonio Guterres to the Rafah border crossing of the Gaza Strip, who called for an "immediate humanitarian ceasefire".
"Under his leadership, the UN has become an anti-Semitic and anti-Israel organization that cultivates and encourages terrorism," Katz wrote on the X platform.
"UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres came to the Egyptian side of the Rafah crossing today and blamed Israel for the humanitarian situation in Gaza, without in any way condemning the Hamas terrorists who are robbing humanitarian aid," said Katz.
It is the latest episode in ongoing tensions between Israel and the UN.
