The White House today assessed that the jihadist group Islamic State is a "common terrorist enemy", a day after the attack in the suburbs of Moscow where 133 people were killed, and responsibility for the attack was taken by the Islamic State.
"The Islamic State is a common terrorist enemy that must be defeated everywhere," White House spokeswoman Karin Jean-Pierre said.
She added that the US administration "strongly condemns the heinous terrorist attack in Moscow on innocent civilians."
The number of people killed in the terrorist attack on the Krokus hall in Moscow rose to 133 today, and more than 140 people were wounded. 11 foreign suspects were detained, including four people who carried out the attack, according to the authorities.
