Tajik authorities arrested nine people this week in connection with an attack on a concert hall near Moscow, local media reported, citing a security source.
According to reports, all nine were allegedly detained on Monday in the Vahdat neighborhood in the suburbs of Dushanbe.
Another source in Dushanbe told Radio Free Europe (RSE) that several young men were among the detainees.
On Tuesday, a source in Tajik law enforcement agencies told RFE/RL that six people had been arrested on suspicion of planning a terrorist attack, but did not provide further details.
Russia said it had arrested 11 people a day after the attack, including four suspected gunmen, all citizens of Tajikistan.
The Islamic State militant organization has claimed responsibility for the attack several times.
