Today, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky dismissed his long-time assistant and several advisers in the continuation of the reconstruction of the country's leadership, at a time when Russia continues and increases its attacks on that country.
Zelenski fired Serhi Sherif from the position of first assistant, which he held since 2019. The Ukrainian president also dismissed three advisers and two representatives of the president who oversee the activities of volunteers and the rights of soldiers.
So far, no explanation has been given for the latest changes in the extensive staff reshuffle carried out in recent months. This includes Tuesday's dismissal of Oleksiy Danilov, who worked as a secretary in the Council for National Security and Defense, as well as the dismissal of Valerij Zaluzhny, the head of the armed forces, which took place on February 8. Zaluznyi was subsequently appointed Ukraine's ambassador to the UK earlier this month.
The Ukrainian Air Force announced today that during the night, Russia launched 13 Shahed drones, nine of which were shot down, and that it fired four missiles into eastern Ukraine.
In the last 24 hours, Russia launched 38 missiles at Ukraine and carried out 75 airstrikes and 98 attacks from multi-barrel rocket launchers, the Ukrainian armed forces announced on social networks.

The Ukrainian energy company Centrenergo announced today that the Zmiyev thermal power plant, one of the largest in the eastern Kharkiv region, was completely destroyed in last week's Russian shelling. Power restrictions are still in effect for about 120.000 residents of the area, where 700.000 were left without power when the switchboard was hit on March 22.
