Manado Airport is closed due to the eruption of a volcano in northern Indonesia, the Indonesian authorities announced today.
The Ruang volcano started spewing ash on Tuesday night.
The authorities raised the alert level to the highest level and warned of the danger of a tsunami due to the eruption.
Manado International Airport, located 100 kilometers from Ruang Volcano, will be closed until tonight.
