The New York police announced that they detained 34 participants of the pro-Palestinian protest at the Brooklyn Museum, AP reported.
It is said that indictments are being considered against those arrested.
On May 31, hundreds of demonstrators set up tents in the lobby of the museum in Brooklyn and unfurled the "Freedom for Palestine" banner from the roof of the building in protest against Israel's military intervention in the Gaza Strip.
AP reports that protesters were detained during a fight in front of the museum, and that some of them threw plastic bottles at police officers and insulted them.
The Brooklyn museum said it had closed an hour early on Friday due to a disturbance that saw police and protesters clash inside and outside the building.
