On Sunday, the African country of Mali announced the termination of diplomatic relations with Ukraine.
The reason is that a "senior Ukrainian official", according to officials of the state of Mali, admitted Kiev's "involvement" in the heavy defeat of the Malian army and the Russian paramilitary group "Wagner" at the end of July in the fight with separatists and jihadists in that country.
The transitional government of Mali has decided to "immediately terminate diplomatic relations with Ukraine", said the spokesman of that government, Colonel Abdoulaye Maja.
