A passenger plane with 62 people crashed on the outskirts of Sao Paulo in Brazil, the country's civil defense said, according to CNN Brazil.
As CNN reports, the plane hit several houses.
There were 58 passengers and four crew members on the plane, reports the BBC writing of local media.
According to Flightradar24, the Voepas plane left Kaskavel and was on its way to Sao Paulo when it lost its signal shortly before 12:30 local time.
Dramatic videos of the crash on social media show the plane falling from the sky. Another video, shared by CNN Brazil, shows the wrecked aircraft in flames on the ground, N1 reports.
