The United States of America warned today that Iran will face significant consequences if it decides to supply Russia with hundreds of ballistic missiles.
"We are ready to provide a quick and strong response if Iran engages in the transfer of ballistic missiles," Vedant Patel, a spokesman for the US State Department, told reporters in Washington.
According to him, the US believes that this "would represent a serious escalation of Iranian support for Russia's aggressive war against Ukraine."
