At least 40.972 Palestinians have been killed and 94.761 wounded in the Israeli military offensive on Gaza since October 7, the Gaza Ministry of Health announced today, Reuters reports.

Five people, including two women, two children and a senior official, were killed in an Israeli airstrike in Gaza early Sunday morning.
The Civil Defense said the attack, which took place in the urban refugee camp of Jabaliya, targeted the home of the deputy director for northern Gaza, Mohamed Morsi.
The Israeli military had no immediate comment. The army constantly states in its announcements that it is trying to avoid the death of civilians and that its target is only armed persons.
