Rockets fired from Lebanon wounded 11 people in central Israel on Saturday, Israel's emergency services said, after one of them hit a house, as prospects for a ceasefire dwindled.
Fighting has escalated dramatically in recent weeks between Israeli forces and the Lebanese Hezbollah group.
"We came out and saw dust, children screaming, women screaming and everyone went to the house that was hit," said Kasim Mohab, a resident of Tira, where the rocket landed.
"We were able to evacuate and save those who were in the house, and thank God we are blessed that no one was killed," he said.
Israeli emergency services said 11 people were injured by shrapnel.
Air raid sirens continued to sound in northern Israel as rocket fire from Lebanon continued, the military said.
The Israeli military said in the early hours of Saturday morning that sirens were sounding in a number of areas in central Israel after the launches crossed from Lebanon into Israeli territory, Reuters reports.
52 people were killed in Israeli airstrikes in northeastern Lebanon on Friday, according to the Lebanese Ministry of Health.
As they stated, 72 people were injured in the attacks on northeastern Lebanon, reports AP.
The Ministry of Health reported that since the conflict between Israel and Hezbollah broke out last year, at least 2,9 people have been killed and 13.150 wounded in Lebanon.
Health authorities state that a quarter of those killed were women and children.
More than 43 people have been killed in Israel's war against Hamas in Gaza, Palestinian health officials say, not distinguishing between civilians and combatants.
The war began after Palestinian militants invaded Israel on October 7 last year, killing about 1,2 thousand people, mostly civilians, and abducting 250 people.
