Indonesian rescuers found the bodies of 20 people today and are searching for two villagers who were missing after the floods on the island of Sumatra.
As officials announced, the floods also caused stones and mud to fall down the mountain.
As a result of heavy rainfall over the weekend, rivers overflowed their banks and destroyed many rural houses and properties.
Seasonal rains from October to March often trigger floods and landslides in Indonesia, an archipelago of 17.000 islands where millions of people live in mountainous areas or near fertile flood-prone plains.
