New York police have released new images of the unmasked suspect they are looking for in connection with the Dec. 4 killing of Brian Thompson, the CEO of America's largest health insurance company, UnitedHealthcare.
In one of the photos, the suspect was taken in a hostel on the Upper West Side in New York.
The police had earlier searched the hostel because they suspect that the suspect was staying there.
During the homicide investigation and large-scale manhunt, police discovered several usable images of the suspect without a mask, although he wore a mask most of the time while staying at the hostel on 103rd Street and Amsterdam Avenue.
According to the police, the suspect was staying in a room with two other men.
Police are continuing their investigation and believe the killing was planned and targeted.
"UnitedHealthcare" is a branch of the insurance giant "UnitedHealthcare Group".
The company was scheduled to hold its annual meeting with investors in New York to update Wall Street on the company's direction and expectations for the coming year, the company said in a statement.
On the morning of December 4th, attendees were told that the conference was ending early.
Thompson has been the CEO of UnitedHealthcare for more than three years, and has been with the company since 2004.
